Located near the coast of Maryland one hour southeast of the nation's capital, The Calverton School offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma and a new neighborhood-style Global Residential Village.The village is a neighborhood-style village of large houses with full-time house par- ents, Wi-Fi, theaters, exercise rooms, and entertainment areas. The housing is located along a wooded area with direct access to outdoor nature trails.

98% students are accepted by Top 1% universities e.g. Harvard University, Standford University, Yale University, University of California - Los Angeles, etc.
The addition of the new Global Residential Village brought Calverton's campus to a spacious 153 acres. Its modern facilities include Smart Touch technology in every classroom, a large sports complex with numerous fields and courts, a new turf stadium, a contemporary arts and science center, a student art gallery, science labs, and a theater/auditorium. Students have access to campus-wide wireless internet access and iPads or laptops in every classroom.
There are 259 students, and the teacher-student ratio is 1:7 to maximize the school's teaching quality and student services.
There are 32 electives including AP (Advanced Placement) and IB (International Baccalaureate) courses e.g. Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Repertoire and Performance, IB Visual Arts, etc.
There are 30 elective courses in Languages, Arts and Athletics e.g.3D Printing, Film Study, Guitar, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Golf, Soccer, Volleyball, etc.
In addition to 10 competitive sports, The Calverton School offers the D.C. United Academy Program: a partnership with the D.C. United professional soccer team that offers residency training for aspiring professional soccer players.
There are various student-led clubs such as Community Service, Computer Programming, Environment, Model United Nations, National Honor Society, etc.
